Waters from Murrells Inlet NC to South Santee River SC from 20 to
40 nm...

At 1218 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These
thunderstorms were located around Goldfinch Reef, moving south at 15
knots.

Locations impacted include...
2 C R Ledge, City Of Richmond, Inshore Hole, Parking Lot Area, C J
Davidson Wreck, Goldfinch Reef, and Wayne Upchurch Reef.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.

This storm may produce a waterspout. A Special Marine Warning may be
needed.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL GEORGETOWN COUNTY
THROUGH 1230 PM EDT...

At 1205 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a landspout near Litchfield Beach, or near
Pawleys Island, moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
objects.

Locations impacted include...
DeBordieu Colony, Pawleys Island, Plantersville, Litchfield Beach,
and Oatland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
